My professional journey began in environmental science and sustainability, where I spent a decade understanding the intricate balance between human habitation and the natural world. This experience profoundly influences my approach to homebuilding, emphasizing energy efficiency, sustainability, and harmony with the environment.
Returning to my roots in construction, I've had the privilege of working on a diverse array of projects — from boutique renovations to expansive luxury homes. This hands-on experience across all phases of construction, combined with collaborations with real estate professionals and architects, has honed my ability to deliver homes that are both beautiful and functional.
As a certified Passive House Tradesperson, I integrate advanced building science principles into each project, ensuring homes that are comfortable, healthy, and sustainable.
Founding Porchlight Builders was a natural progression — a culmination of my experiences and a platform to bring clients' visions to life with integrity, precision, and care.
Beyond the Build
When I'm not immersed in designing and constructing homes, you'll find me exploring the majestic mountains surrounding Salida. Whether it's mountain biking, skiing, or climbing, these adventures fuel my creativity and deepen my connection to the landscapes that inspire our builds. Family time is paramount, and I cherish moments spent hiking, camping, and discovering new trails with my loved ones across the western U.S.
